JUST MULTIPLY IT!

For the sake of saving teachers time an explanation of how The Just Multiply It! Method works is brief. The method is easy to implement, fun to do, and it really works!

1.   Partner reads aloud the multiplication questions (gray rows)          to student and then records the answers (white rows).

 

2.   Partner circles incorrect answers “misses” (areas that       require remediation and practice).

 

3.   Partner records incorrect answers to questions (misses) on        the “Individual Student Assessment Record  sheet”.

 

4.   Switch roles with partner and repeat above steps.

 

5.   Find the answers to mistakes and correct them using the        “Solve it by Grid” method.

 

6.   Work on the Just Multiply It! Practice Sheets, based on         areas that require remediation. Circle and correct “misses”.

 

7)   Repeat steps 1 - 6.
